🪴Petunia is one of the most widely cultivated ornamental plants in the world. It is known as the "queen of flowers" due to its compact and beautiful plant shape and colorful flowers.
🌺The flowering period can last from April to November. With proper care, flowers can bloom at any time of the year. The flower color changes depending on the season, temperature, light and other factors. In spring and autumn, the flower color is darker and in summer it is darker.

Methods for sowing and caring for double petunias
1. Treat the seeds
Sow seeds that are plump and healthy. You can soak the seeds in clean water for 24 hours to make the seeds absorb enough water and shorten the germination time. Petunia seeds germinate best at 18-25 °C, so they can be sown in autumn.
2. How to choose flower pots?
You can choose to plant in clay pots or ceramic flower pots. Tile pots are made of clay, which has good air permeability and drainage, and are very suitable for planting. Ceramic flower pots are made of ceramic mud, which has slightly poor air permeability and drainage.
3. Preparing the soil
The soil for planting petunias can be prepared by mixing leaf mold soil, garden soil and river sand. You can also buy special nutrient soil for planting petunias at a flower shop. You only need to drip nutrient solution into the nutrient soil to plant it. Petunias like shade, so the pot must be placed in a ventilated and semi-shady place when planting.

Petunias need constant sunlight to grow properly (6–8 hours a day). In most cases, morning glories prefer a warm and moderately dry climate and sunny summers. Rain can damage the delicate flowers of morning glories. The average temperature that morning glories prefer is 17–23 °C. Petunias are native to South America, where summer temperatures average 15–30 °C (59–86 °F) and winter temperatures rarely fall below 0 °C (32 °F). However, morning glories can tolerate temperature differences of up to 35 °C (95 °F) and almost 0 °C (32 °F).
5. Morning Glory Water Requirements – Watering Morning Glories
Like other plants, morning glories do not like dry or particularly wet soil. Instead, they prefer soil that is always slightly moist. A little trick to find out if your petunias need watering is to simply feel the soil with your finger. You can try rolling it into a "ball" with your hands. If no ball of soil forms and there is debris, it's time to water.
6. Morning Glory Fertilizer Needs
Most growers help their garden petunias grow quickly by adding a balanced liquid fertilizer of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (10-10-10, 12-12-12 or 15-15-15) once a month.
7. Pruning Morning Glory.
By pruning, we simply mean pruning the mature flowers or green pots containing the seeds while the petunias are growing. If we don't prune these mature flowers or the green pot that is usually behind the flowers, the plant will put most of its energy into seed production and stop blooming.
