2. Soil Preferences 🌿🌱
Prefers loose, well-draining, loamy soil rich in organic matter.
Avoid compacted or waterlogged soils to prevent root rot.

3. Planting Tips 🌱✨
Plant Yacon in spring after the last frost.
Space plants 3 feet apart to allow ample room for their sprawling foliage.
Cover them with 2-3 inches of soil and water well.

4. Watering Needs 💧🌸
Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy, especially during the growing season.
Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.

5. Fertilization 🌿✨
Apply compost or a balanced organic fertilizer at planting time and mid-season for vigorous growth.

6. Harvesting ⏳🍠
Harvest Yacon tubers in late fall or early winter, about 6-7 months after planting, when the foliage begins to die back.
Dig carefully to avoid damaging the tender tubers.
